During my work as a consultant with The Company Goat, I realized that small businesses and non profits are often ill equipped to vet external vendors. I launched Ven|Venn Consulting to act as short term subject matter expert to aid in onboarding or severing relationships with vendors.

2013 - 2020 : The Company Goat 
I created The Company Goat after working with vendors and consultants across various industries. Some were great, some were terrible... but they all are pretty expensive. This seemed primarily because they were attempting to be everything all at once. You can end up contracting an entire department of your business.

The result is price barriers for smaller companies or people just trying to get started.

My core belief is that simple tools can solve complex problems. If we get you equipped with those tools, you can take them and do what you need to do. The result is a brief and highly effective partnership that gets you what you need.

July 2018- October 2019 : Digital Marketing Project Manager, PCNA
I provided Digital Marketing Project Management and Strategy for PCNA and it's owned product lines. I focused on Human-centered Design and Human-centered Project Management.

January 2017-July 2018: Senior Creative Project Manager/ Digital Strategist, Highmark Health
I provided digital and content strategy for AHN.org, with a renewed focus on a patient-centered experience. This project involved the revitalization of the current web presence as well as re-imagining database functions, taxonomy, and UI while maintaining enterprise-level standards and branding.

July 2014-December 2016: Senior Communications Specialist, Robert Morris University
I pioneered and managed the University's centralized communications and customer service hub, Colonial Central, while developing custom reports, copy, presentations, videos and communications for the Facilities Management Leadership. This position also included official photography and documentation of ongoing projects, campus condition as well as general promotional footage (this included piloting a UAV.)

My team fielded over 19,000 calls and processed over 16,000 work orders a year while acting as a centralized point of contact for students, faculty and staff. The Colonial Central staff also puts out a monthly internal newsletter to update the department on projects and relevant news.
